Kris Casey

This video compiles several smaller videos that use digitally modified and altered images from my paintings on top of found footage of wilting or blooming plants. The videos are projected onto a white wall at a large scale. The intention is to evoke uncertainty in the view as to the subtle movements, to create uncertainty of what exactly is behind the digital elements and leave a sense of the uncanny in relation to what is natural, what is digital and where they intersect.
